Inside Sales Product Specialist
The Inside Sales Product Specialist is responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. They should be able to close sales and meet targets.
The Inside Sales Product Specialist should be a good listener, able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. They will build quotes and estimates and provides technical data and support of the KINGS product lines.
Position Responsibilities:

Take direction and fulfil responsibilities from the VP Business Development

Act as a product specialist on the KINGS product lines, stay informed about product and service information updates.

Provide sales and technical support for the KINGS product lines, upsell products and services and make product recommendations

Build rapport and communicate information to customers and respond to customer inquiries and complaints of KINGS product lines quickly and efficiently.

Identify sales opportunities and close sales to achieve company quotas and KPI’s

Liaise with purchasing and/ or shipping to determine status of orders, manage changes and cancellations in sales orders.

Prepare documentation, backup reports, customer quotations and invoicing in a timely manner.

Maintain and ensure accuracy of customer information, requirements, coding, signatures, PO’s, etc. for invoicing.

Maintain updated customer files and billing system information.

Assist with office and administration duties when required.

Work closely with the VP of Sales and Marketing with evaluation and monitoring of required KPIs

Initiate Nonconformance reports where products and services do not meet Purchase Order, Contract or Work Order requirements

Assist with and track RMAs

Demonstrate and emphasize safety conscious attitude
Education and Experience:

High school diploma and equivalent years of experience or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field

Proven experience in a customer-facing role in a related industry

Related sales support experience in the oil and gas sector
-
Familiarity with Kings product line is an asset.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to develop and maintain internal and external working relationships.

Well-developed time management, organizational and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong computer skills: proficiency in MS office suite.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and accuracy in all documentation and data entry; including company sensitive information.

Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

Demonstrated ability to effectively work within a complex, fast-moving work environment with minimal supervision.

Willingness to take a hands-on approach in developing systems and procedures.

Experience with purchasing, shipping and receiving procedures.
