On June 17th, the Space Concordia Rocketry Division (SCRD) student team from Concordia University, tested their experimental liquid-propelled rocket engine, Stewart, and produced a record-shattering 35kN of thrust.

The team managed to successfully fire their full scale rocket engine!!! It is the most powerful rocket engine in Canada, the most powerful rocket engine ever built by students, and it is even more powerful than some rocket engines used by professional orbital launch companies!
